I don't remember the specifics, but pretty sure there were some big red flags on BG3, sadly.
For one thing, I think they uglied their females, and...oh, I think I remember. I think they had some super woke blog posts about racism, diversity, and character creation. It was pretty bad, as I recall, and pissed a lot of people off.
It's difficult to tell for certain since a lot of those red flags might be related to Wizards of the Coast and D&D related news.
There's certainly some possibility of some mild layering of wokeness on the surface (like the gender stuff in the customization options and the marketing) but it remains to be seen if it's rotten to the core or not.
