I only saw the thread after the nuking so had to go over the reports for context but here's my take on it:
Welcome to what happens when one group is favoured in a society over others for non meritocratic reasons despite actively harming said society. We see the same thing with blacks in America but this is a sign of the resentment building up in Europe behind all the virue signalling media.
I wouldn't be surprised if a boat calling 100s of 'migrants' sunk killing all it's occupants, that you got a few 'good' and 'better than them being here' statements behind closed doors. We are in the stages of dehumanisation where they are thought of as more of a pest than a person. The best thing ANY of them can do is leave and not come back.
That emerging sentiment and dehumanization is a byproduct of the failing to actually address the problem. All the institutions are so worried about being racially insensitive that they're actually creating the situation in which the masses begin the process of dehumanization of the other. It's a defense mechanism. All you had to do was enforce your borders and not let hordes of foreigners in. Now you've got a problem that will necessarily require the population to see said hordes as less than human if they are to have any hope of taking the actions necessary to correct the situation.
That's not a good place to be. This could have been avoided with a modicum of responsible behavior.
The dehumanization started when Western politicians decided to genocide the native population so it could be replaced with an electorate that allows them to do as they please.
