Hmm, let us check the racial demographics of Washington, D.C as reported by the US Census Bureau website census.gov:
White alone, 46.2%
Black or African American alone, 45.0%
American Indian and Alaska Native alone, 0.7%
Asian alone, 4.7%
Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander alone, 0.2%
Two or More Races, 3.2%
Hispanic or Latino, 11.7%
White alone, not Hispanic or Latino, 37.5%
If you add all those percentages up, you get 149.2%, which is weird right? If you drop the "White alone" and "Two or more races" categories, you get 99.8%, which seems much more reasonable, so it would be accurate to say that over 60% (~62.3%) of their population is non-white or at least not white identifying.
A quick glance through the article reveals the strong double themes of "Americans bad, whites bad" and "marginalized groups good, people of color good and also marginalized so double good."
If the intent of the school board serving a majority non-white populace is to usurp a more unifying American identity with more divisive smaller racial identities and then set those racial groups against each other by teaching white children to hate themselves and non white children to blame whites for all the bad things, thus creating a "crabs in a bucket" society where the board members can pretend to be outside the bucket until they are tossed back in by those with actual power, then yes, a brilliant plan that can in no way backfire and cause DC to become an even bigger shithole in the future.
TL;DR "When I am weaker than you, I ask you for freedom because that is according to your principles; when I am stronger than you, I take away your freedom because that is according to my principles" but as implemented by idiots.
Idiocracy + South African race relations. The future is bright! /s
Watch them go surprised Pikachu face when the school's math and reading scores get even worse.
Is that even possible? Retards could probably do just as well by guessing each answer.
They have the kind of students where if you get 250 points for filling out your name correctly there'll be a bunch of people who miss that.
I'm sure they'll be learning about the african slavers that created the african slave trade, or the atrocities the Comanche committed against natives and settlers, right? riiiiight?
Because the Capitol always extols the virtues of itself.
Business owners take note. If they have any DC schools on their resume immediately file it in the round cabinet.
how does dc have a "state board of education"?
