"If the concern is state control over children's minds," he added, "it's worth noting that even if a child attends public school, parents will have exclusive control over 80 percent of the child's awake life."
He suggested that "if parents cannot, in that other 80 percent ... communicate their views, discuss them with the child, explain why they as parents think differently ... then I wonder what's going on in the family."
Is this guy retarded? If a woman is being raped only 20% of the time she has no reason to complain because 80% of the time she isn't being raped, right?
This is where it helps to have a moral compass. If a person argues to a point that's basically offensive, such as parents being subjugate to the state, you are well and immediately inclined to consider the opposing view.
This logic also doesn't work in numerous shithole states or other similar grooming-obsessed countries like Canada. If you communicate and express certain views to your child, and the child mentions it around or to a teacher (or any other groomer in a position of power), you can have child services called on you and your children taken away, with no recourse but to kneel to the lady dick mafia.
Add to that, as we’ve seen in some of the conflicts between students and teachers pushing LGBT shit, the teachers get really really mad if the ideas passed on to the kids by parents during the 80% time conflict with those ideas the teachers are trying to implant during the 20% time. The Canadian teachers literally told students that if they believe in the 80%-time ideas (Islamic ideals passed down from their Muslim parents), they should leave Canada.

Who the hell comes up with that logic?
