I wish I still had more hope on humanity like some folks here.

Given that he grew up in NYC, I'd take a guess that he lives in a very woke environment. While he did say in the interview that he lost some faith in people with the incident, I doubt it's enough to actually redpill a kid who grew up in wokeland.

It's like the pregnant lady with the bike stealing "teenagers". After all that shit I bet that lady will still live in a blue city and vote for more wokeness.

Let's hope the kid (or his parents) learn the lesson, but at this point, I don't count on it.
