It probably was the US, and they are just throwing Ukraine under the bus because they can.
And if it was Ukraine that carried out the attack, I can pretty much guarantee the US aided them directly with doing so. As there is absolutely no way that Ukraine could have pulled it off alone.
The way it read to me, Ukraine didn't even tell the US about it. Either way, it pretty much discredits the idea that Russia blew up their own pipeline.
Yeah. Intelligence reports never say how they got the info, so we have no choice but to make an inference there, but my reading is that Ukraine was planning it themselves. This also makes the most sense from the Ukrainian POV since the US could've spoiled those plans by alerting Germany etc.
I really doubt the US sent in soldiers close to any front line. Special forces, yes probably (operating under cover), but if uniformed US soldiers got killed in Ukraine and Russia used their deaths for propaganda, that could drag the US directly into the war. Very grave risk for no great benefit. But away from the front lines? Yes, without a doubt.
US could have spoiled the plans by alerting Germany
Germany is a vassal state, and Scholz might even a bigger puppet than Merkel.
After the attack, Scholz and Biden met in DC - and days after both the CIA and the German BND almost simultaneously announced that some random divers with a yacht did it. Most lousy lie ever.
I'm sure Ukraine has plans for a lot of things that never happen & some that do.
The European intelligence reporting was shared on the chat platform Discord, allegedly by Air National Guard member Jack Teixeira. The Washington Post obtained a copy from one of Teixeira’s online friends.
Yeah, sure. Totally not the US, who had both the means and the political (keep Germany from lifting the sanctions, make Europe more bound to the US) and financial interests (LNG business to Europe) to do so. Not like both Nuland and Biden literally announced that they will "put an end to NS2"
I'm impressed, I had assumed it was either the US one of its Nordic allies, and didn't think Ukraine had the capability to pull it off.

It was the fucking US.

They are STILL drip feeding that shit out?!

And don't worry. My country (Germany) will continue sending billions worth of military stuff to Ukraine. Cause Russia is evil...
Russia is only evil, had it been the USSR they would be portrayed as heaven on earth.
BREAKING NEWS: poorest, most corrupt country in Europe with no navy pulled off the most daring naval act of sabotage in European history.
"Knew about before the attack" is a funny way to say planned....
Shock.
