I prefer to refer to it as trying to get a guy to start a relationship "pre-cucked".
Worried she might get herself knocked up by another dude after she starts dating you? Good news, this whore is ahead of the curve on that one.
That's what it feels like when a "single mother" tries to find a relationship while simultaneously bragging that the one(or more) guy she got knocked up by still thinks she's a waste of time.
It's egocentricism. She wants to think she is as desirable as she ever was.
She also wants to use it as a help call as if she were a wounded bird. The single moms like to all pretend it was a ripped condom, or a failed birth control pill, because the reason why this call works is because the single moms have convinced all the other women that it could happen to them. Sort of like how the "Believe all women" people want to convince all other women that rape happens to every single woman, ever. Or how the abortion lobby talks about life saving / rape abortion despite that not being even 1% of the reason why abortions occur.
All this squawking despite women being the ones that initiate most divorce.
I dunno, I think they recognize that it's at least something they should mention upfront if they don't want to have a lot of dates running as soon as they spring the surprise on men they're dating.
How they flavor it in their profile can vary though. I've seen some cringe and I've seen some that's just kind of normal/casual. Maybe it's gotten worse in recent years with narcissistic social media related behavior.
If you're meeting in person, well you'd find out eventually. A dating site I would think would have everyone's um reproductive status out there. Cuz ultimately that's the goal of dating.
True, though the circumstances are quite different when we're talking about individual women who happen to be single mothers, and media cases trying to "represent them" to push a propaganda narrative. Obviously the latter can have an impact on the former (media propaganda being spun to stroke the egos and sense of entitlement), but they are not necessarily one and the same.
And obviously when there's a media or marketing spotlight they're going to royally up the ante on how much bullshit they're willing to spew. I'd apply this metric to single mothers who actively gain money and/or fame through various online social media platforms too. And then there's the whole branch of single mothers who leech off the system for the sole purpose of child support and government handouts...
It's a mixed bag all around, and while not all of it is awful, most of it is, I'll agree.
Maybe it's time for a return to shaming and shunning.
“I’m a single mom”
sounds better than the reality
“I let losers rawdog me”
