Yes that "problem" was one of the major marketing points of DuckDuckGo vs. Google's silo'd custom results. They claimed they provide an unfiltered search experience, until they proved they are another pozzed subsidiary of globohomo.
Personally I don't have a problem with it. The internet is supposed to be decentralized and personal. It's ideal that everyone sees what they want - as long as we can also find anything outside that box with ease. The corporations are making that more and more difficult as time goes on.
This is one reason I usually use incognito mode and always use a VPN. I refuse to be involuntarily merged into the normieverse.
