That's a neat sentiment, but it doesn't win over people who are well-versed in the doctrine and dogma. You can appeal to common sense with some normies, but if you are dealing with an intellectual, or someone in medicine, you're going to have to walk through the nonsense.
Anyone can just claim that socialism doesn't work, but if they know what the Labor Theory of Value is, and you don't know how to counter it, you look like an anti-intellectual luddite. If, on the other hand, you counter with your own knowledge that defeats: LTV, Autarkey, Immiseration Theory, and Shrinking Markets Theory, you can expose them for being the intellectual frauds they are for following psuedo-science. Best of all, they didn't read any of those things, they just have enough knowledge to fool a normie. Not anyone well versed in the topic.
Oh it's not enough is it? But these pakis who live 35 people in a small room and eat only rice and beans are willing to do it for that, so the wages must be indeed fair.

Funny story, I once had a debate with a professor of "Labor Economics". He was a massive commie fuck.

Frankly, I kinda think that's what "labor economics" means in academia.
