Never played it but I plan on it. I’ve been told since I like Skyrim I’d enjoy it because it’s the same game style. Are there any characters to race swap? I’m sure there will be lots of lgbt because in a post apocalyptic world that seems to be the rule according to entertainment
Funny enough, the Fallout series does have a bunch of, y'know, blacks, lesbians, so on and so forth.
Except that they work, because they were written as actual characters, rather than aiming for a diversity checksheet.
Plus, it has Joshua Graham. Who doesn't like Joshua Graham? Godless communists, that's who.
If you do get into Fallout, word of advise; Even if you don't end up liking Fallout 3 and 4, atleast give New Vegas a try. You won't regret it.
Will do. It looks like a fun game, and I was told it’s Skyrim in a post apocalyptic world. Although there is the theory that Elder Scrolls is the very far future from fallout. Also, I notice a lot of people were exposed to Ink Spots thanks to Fallout.
It's not. They weren't even created by the same company.
Aren’t they created by Bethesda? I remember seeing that theory on Reddit a long time ago
There really shouldn't be any need to race-swap characters. Fallout isn't a character-based or narrative-driven series, it's primarily a sandbox setting that can be used to tell any story the writers can fit into it, just like in most RPGs like Shadowrun, The Elder Scrolls, and D&D's Sword Coast. There might be a larger meta-narrative at play, but that's really more to establish a proper history and timeline to tell the latest story in. Ideally, a Fallout TV series wouldn't need to adapt any of the games (and with it, do race swaps); it could just tell its own original story with all-new characters, rather than just adapt the story of one of the games.
Though yes, there is indeed going to be an absurd number of alphabet people regardless. Even though this is a setting where much of the population is going to be expected to bear children, and supposed trannies are going to have a hell of a lot more to worry about than whether or not they're in the wrong body or break "gender stereotypes."
Ok so they can’t mess that up. Unless people are tired of post apocalyptic stories they could make a great series
