I'm just gonna copy paste a response I made to this criticism:
If "their own way" involves whining about women, then that's their own way. There's a (sometimes deliberate) misconception that "going their own way" means disappearing so their feminist betters aren't inconvenienced by their existence. That's a legitimate option, but not the only one. The only reason women figure into it at all is because getting legally entangled with them means losing control of your own destiny, which is what MGTOW is really about. It just so happens that I think the MGTOW community could use more self improvement and lifestyle content, but it's not something I can bring up without sounding like a feminist who's only interested in controlling what the community talks about.
I dunno man. Just sounds kinda pathetic to me. You guys have your boogieman and the feminists have theirs (the patriarchy) and at the end of the day everybody wastes a lot of time and mental effort reeeeing on the internet.
I mean, you're right that doing something productive is better than just whining. It's just that a lot of feminists complain that MGTOW doesn't actually "go their own way", and that complaint misunderstands (probably intentionally) the meaning of GTOW. But it's not just MGTOW that complains on the internet. This site in particular is largely dedicated complaining about the cultural rot afflicting the West. We could also be doing something more productive, but sometimes it's nice to just talk to other like minded people about things we don't like about society.

I do think that we could all benefit from touching grass a little more often. I've been thinking about taking a month off this site and all these MGTOW posts lately have been pushing me further in that direction.
