Hoo boy, little wanna be po po Pinkys show up on my door, they better keep their weapons holstered, and their hands visible. Then I tell them to get off my property, and I call 911, saying an armed group of bounty hunters are outside my front door for no reason I can discern, and that I have tresspassed them, and that I feel my physical security is at risk, so if the police don't want an incident, they better get over here and do something about it, and that they better roll with lights and sirens, lest I see one of them make a move for a weapon, and I open fire.
They'd probably leave and then go file a theft case with the cops. The way I heard TYer describe the encounter is that they claimed ownership of the "product", explaining they considered it stolen without making an accusation, and then asked for it back.
It's kind of like, if your bike was stolen. At least once upon a time. And you saw it in front of someone's house, well you'd go to their door probably and ask for it back. They might just give it back to ya.

The cops would help them.
