Gillette may not be getting castigated anymore, but many people, myself included, are boycotting them for life. Gillette never apologized, but they did release a pretty macho commercial after their failed anti-male nonsense. They also quietly deleted the anti-male one a few months ago. It seems it did affect their bottom line after all.
This is what they'll all do and they'll pull the exact same trick as covid, it's a form of organised gaslighting. They simply pretend that a certain event never happened and carry on as normal.
The most fascinating thing about this tactic is how often it works, have you noticed how with covid and feminism realistically they just aren't aren't a thing anymore? The normies do it as well, rather than admit they did anything wrong by going along with this shit they just hum along and pretend nothing happened.
It has made me look at people I know RL very differently, I am not happy about it, but it's interesting this extends to corporate marketing as well as the media and normies.
Gillette is the only boycott I've actually been able to participate in because usually I'm not buying these shitty products in the first place. What am I supposed to do though, write an occasional scathing post on social media about them? No thanks. I'll just continue to never buy anything from them ever again. And I guarantee there are plenty more like me.
They are waiting for it to blow over. I guarantee the right will forget. Look at gillette that isn't being castigated any more.
This is why the left wins. Mental illness is forever, but righteous anger must be fed.

Yeah fuck Gillette. Gone but not forgotten.

Like giving things up on Lent that I never partake in anyway, I find myself "boycotting" things quite often.
If righteous anger takes on the form of contempt, which is a feeling of moral superiority, the impact will last a lot longer.
