There is a bit of obsession on both sides to hate shows and movies. More on the left side, but I can't help notice it happening on the right as well. Go see the movie, shows, and games you like and be happy.
But you don't know if you like the movie/show before you see it.
That's why I use IMDB and filter by 1-star reviews. They all have a point to them because you can hate something for one reason whereas higher reviews are muddled trying to explain the whole collection of things that have to go right for the show to be great.
Sometimes 1-stars are things like "has too much swearing" which I don't care about or not many people agreed with a comment, but if it's "full of woke political crap" with lots of upvotes for it then it's a hard pass.
I don't hate those shows and I might like some of them despite the crap parts, but they're just not worth my time to watch and find out.

This is the stance I have come around to as well. I dont really go out of my way to try and decide if something is "woke" or "based". If something catches my eye, I will take part in it. And both sides can fuck off.
Of course, that still usually means avoiding your typical Hollywood bullshit since they couldnt write an interesting story to save their lives.
Then ask them what they think of the Joker.

That's one of the reasons why I post a link list.
