This should be a serious corruption scandal, police testimony is given special weight under the presumption of impartiality. And here's this woman on camera lying about recorded events to plant a false charge of incitement on this man. She knew wearing the sign wouldn't be enough legal cover to call it incitement.
But this is Canada, they apparently have a different cultural expectation that it's ok for the the government lie to their face and laugh at them.

Different? Maybe it's different from the US (I wish for your sake), but it sure as hell is not different from Europe. Here, the government lies to us about everything, and demands that we say "yes, Master, whatever you say, Master".
To be honest, yeah. Most of the time, even cops in Democrat Hive Cities in America give you the illusion of being apolitical, and can't go to "your opinions incited violence" because every American cop understands and opinion isn't violence; and mutual combat isn't even necessarily a thing without a lot of other context added into it.
We have "fighting words" doctrine, but that requires saying something, like "Let's go mother fucker!" or "You're dead bitch!". The cops can't use viewpoint discrimination as a cudgel, like they can in the rest of the Anglosphere.
You should see the latest Canadian budget. Reality has nothing to do with Canada. And now if you say that online (and get too popular), there's a law to deal with you.

If we wanted impartiality in our police force, we wouldn't have female officers. So that's a wash from the outset.
