If they FAFO in places that are their usual hives and haunts, like deep blue cities, it'll be 90% friendly fire among people that probably like them, or at least support them and their lifestyles.
It either removes them from places where they're unwelcome to begin with, and further cements opinion against them, or they self-destruct in their own homebases, causing collateral damage to their own team.
I don't want to sacrifice children to trigger cultural backlashes. I want all of these people and all of their enablers and allies to be isolated from access to normal people and, ideally, spend the rest of their lives in prison.
