Hahaha, I like how for Maleficent they had to write "not green" on it, since it's actually so close. Also, it's all lighting, anyway. From image searching, it looks like the animated version is more gray, maybe with a bit of greenish tint, but looks much greener if there's green magic fire in the scene. There's plenty of scenes where the live action version looks grey, as well as green when using green fire.
But, as someone else said, it doesn't really matter anyway, since people did have problems with all of those. It's just not as blatant as a race swap.
