Another huge Trekkie here, I thought he was serviceable but Jennings (who I personally dislike, he's a liberal bitch) was much better at it. I'd probably take Levar over Bialik but it's hardly a runaway victory.
Nobody can beat Trabek but it seems Jennings and Bialik were best available. Ignoring his nonsense now I was a fan of reading rainbow as a kid and loved TNG but Burton didn’t blow me away as the host.
I remember one reading rainbow where he visited the TNG set. So cool. Sucks how so many of the actors can’t shut up about how much they hate the right. I think Worf is the only one who hasn’t
Having seen Burton's week of hosting, and speaking as a Star Trek fan who respects Burton's literacy work...
I thought he was a pretty weak host, even among the guest hosts that followed Alex Trebek's death.
I'm glad Ken Jennings got the gig--he proved an absolute natural at the job.
Sadly, Ken does have to alternate with Mayim Bialik, who is mediocre at best. But Ken is great.

But don’t take my word for it.

There is one that's on our side: Dwight Schultz, who played Lt. Reginald Barclay.
Schultz even filled in for Rush Limbaugh at least once.
