People pay attention to Mother’s Day because that celebrates women that have done something both difficult and productive.

Don't forget: it wasn't women earning their rights by assuming responsibility. It was simping males that just handed it to them without asking for anything back.
The day is designed to wear you down. Don't let it. Just keep an eye out for them saying something that damages themselves and archive it. They're always very bold today and it usually creates some missteps.
Honestly, today wore me down for other reasons, entirely independent of their stupid "day of celebration"...
Things are so unbelievably shit that I didn't pay it as much attention as I might have otherwise been forced to...

Fuck today, for more reasons than just that. I'm literally just gonna go to bed early, and fucking try and get through the week.
Where I am, they've extended the circle jerk through Friday, with "events" everywhere... It's... Pretty ubiquitous, really.
But maybe that's just a "city in Australia" thing... I dunno.
