I wouldn't say I've been a Lincoln opponent all my life, but it's not possible to argue that he wasn't acting like a dictator, and you could have just stopped with his War Powers argumentation.

Same thing can be said for the Kent State "Massacre". Nobody mentions that the reason the National Guard was there in the first place is because Communist terrorist tried to assassinate hundreds of ROTC cadets by burning down the ROTC building with everyone inside, during a major Communist insurrectionist occupation of the University.
The information exists, they just don't tell you that it's there.
