Sometimes I wonder how unique combinations of other external features are: eg. the combination of your posture, height, arm length, how you swing your arms when you walk, your gait, etc... Could you uniquely identify someone not showing a patch of bare skin from those sorts of features alone?
"Body recognition" (it's actually a different term) is already done on CCP-monitored security cameras in China. I doubt you can get a high confidence match without their face showing, but it's a rich and useful feature-set to add to the whole picture.
