You don't really "pick your friends", it more-or-less just happens. You sit by some guy in a university class, you find some random roommate on kijiji, you chat with some guy randomly at a bar, you go to the gym and always run into the same guy, etc... Sometimes it just happens that the friends you make don't have access to suitable single women. How is that any man's fault?
