Mental illness features something called "comorbidity" where mentally ill people usually don't have just 1 thing wrong with them, it comes in clusters. This is why LGBT people have much much higher rates of mental illness than the general population.

Whenever they say this, I just point out the jews and blacks were treated worse historically than LGBTs, yet they have no elevated levels of mental illness.
And also, that tranny acceptance levels in the last 20 years are sky-high, especially in blue states, and yet this hasn't reduced their mental illness at all.
Quite the contrary, mental illness has never been higher. Almost like enabling is harmful. Something society knew since time immemorial.
I'm going to question this one, because they've been telling us the opposite in media for 60 years.
If you look at the meta studies, jewish men (but not women) have a slightly higher lifetime prevalence of depression (8.2%) than non jews (6.5%) but other personality disorders like bipolar, which are what we are really talking about here, jews are lower than the general population.
And the higher depression was entirely explained by lower rates of alcohol abuse among jewish men, since studies show that alcohol use has an inverse relationship with depression. In Los Angeles, where the jews drink more alcohol relative to other areas, the elevated depression completely disappears.
