Kino and others in the Gatekeep category aren't so much about being obscure as they are about never having any possibility of being normie tier. Gatekeep is either talky, fanservice (or both in the case of Bakemonogatari), or focused on some aspect of otaku culture (AKB0048 or Genshiken).

Even though I made this a while back, I haven't seen Spy X Family yet. Guess I'll check it out.

I forgot about the Eva rebuilds. Third one lost me with the time skip and I didn't even realize the fourth one was made.
