The problem is that many midwits, including on the right, actually accept this. I've actually had people on the right tell me that using 'they' as a singular pronoun is OK, because... troon talking point... it has been done since Shakespeare.
First of all, none of these degenerates has ever read Shakespeare. As the Merchant of Venice himself, I can guarantee you that. Secondly, I've never seen them produce any instance of Shakespeare doing that for any individual, only for a person whose gender is unknown.
To try to hijack the Bard, or ancient history, for your own sickness, is low even by their standards.
Which is where people on the right will tell you that using "they" as a singular pronoun is okay. It might be "their umbrella" but only until you have more information, at which point it becomes "his umbrella" or "her umbrella".
Yeah, this is the only time I use "they" as a singular, when I don't know what the sex of the person is. That's it. Any other time is retarded and needs to be thrown in the trash.
