As much as I dislike Whedon, the show is not bad (though Season 4 and 6 are very very weak seasons, and 7 fixes them).
Though Buffy was a small woman, the show multiple times shows that she is superpowered with enhanced strength (she sometimes accidentally breaks stuff), durability, and healing. So she is not just a standard issue 80lb woman whooping up on 200lb men ala Black Widow.
It is also filled with lot of 90s/early 00's pop culture references, so it is a trip down memory lane.
Its alright if you had seen it at that time when it wasn't feminist/woke nonsense all around you. Mind you, I couldn't stand it even then because it was way too hard for me to believe "am slayer so magic martial arts that can beat all vampires - teehee".
I can't even contemplate watching it today after all the Mary Sue Media. Not especially without the lens of nostalgia to soften it.
Try it out and maybe you will like it, but for an online influencer to peddle this today, is odd. Or oddly appropriate depending on your view of the world I guess.
Says more about him than anything else.
The show is that bad?

I dunno. It's definitely a bit stereotypical, but it had a lot of good bits in it too that I vaguely remember. Lots of character interaction
Gotcha. Thanks. I did want to see Angel as well so I do need to see Buffy
