The vaccine risks are tiny compared to the enormous risks of COVID in high risk populations.

Any medicine is a risk/benefit question.
If the benefits are close to zero, even tiny risks would be unacceptable.
If the benefits are large, correspondingly larger risks are acceptable.
That said, rates of myocarditis are much lower in the older population, so yeah.
