He's trying to frame this attention grab as 'it's bad that this highly successful Youtuber has helped all these people when the government should do it and not paywall it off' because attacking Mr Beast directly for this is EXTREMELY dumb and a suicide for content creator.
Pushing devil's advocate to the extreme, he's partly right that it's bad a 10 minute procedure has been 'paywalled' off but back in reality, all this shit costs money from equipment, years of training, facilities, drugs needed during and after.
Unless you want substandard care, this costs money. If we could have it as a charity write off or in this case using it to create content, that's great because it's sustainable for wealthy individuals to pay for these procedures and be more involved in this kind of charity than giving it to BLM to buy mansions.
The only reason he's mad is because he believes that he is a good online celebrity (good, as in moral), and when another online celebrity does something good, it puts pressure on him to spend less money on Lambos and more on others so he goes into a frothing defensive rage justifying his past behaviour.
In truth, he fully realizes his hypocrisy, and his cognitive dissonance springs to action to defend himself.
Isn't it already a charity write off?
I honestly did not even know it was that expensive, I thought it was a routine procedure especially for old people.
Not a lawyer so don't fully know if the way Mr Beast did it counts or the most he can claim is business expenses.
Do a lot of those old people have insurance as that's a key factor in this, and with charity write offs, I may be wrong so if we have legal experts here then please correct but doesn't it have to go through an organisation registered as a charity than you just paying a doctor or hospital to do all these procedures?
Its funny, the healthcare system in the US is broken but not for the reasons Hasan thinks. Thanks to government over-intervention insurance companies essentially see humans as an ATM. This has caused even the smallest thing to be exorbitantly expensive (I once paid 1000 dollars for a flu and strep test at an emergency room that billed itself as an urgent care and told me my insurance would cover everything.) On the flipside, saying "everything should be free" leads to disastrous consequences. Rationing, poor care, creating soft slaves out of competent doctors etc. I think I might despise Hassan more than any other breadtube loser. As people have pointed out on twitter, he's an extremely successful "capitalist" that makes all of his money preaching against everything he practices.

That may be the simplest correct way I've seen the problem expressed in a while. The prices are made up so getting butthurt about the unit cost for something doesn't make sense. It's a milking of the people for whatever they've got. Which is why so many hospital bills go unpaid.

That and attention, a bit as a content creator but mostly as a lefty they NEED everyone to hear them always and be the centre of the room.

I find it hard to believe it costs $10,000. Someone is making an obscene profit.

Who's "we" anyway? Where did he go to do these procedures?
No one is shut off. Literally someone has to setup a clinic like this. It doesn't just happen. Ya know do something about it or quit whining about it.
