Around maybe 2018 I've started leaning hard on the 30 second skip button.
Whenever a woman starts talking I hit skip, and if she is still talking I hit it again. And I really don't miss out on anything plot-wise.
But really there just isn't anything worth watching. Terminal List was good, Reacher was very watchable even if it still had some message pushing. Nothing "must see" from maybe the last 5 years. I liked Arcane a lot.
I did see the pilot of Reacher and it looked like it had potential. I just don't have a lot of drive these days to consooom the latest shows. Will look into the other shows you mentioned.
I did give Yellowstone's first season a shot but god damn did I find myself skipping through the female/indian soapboxing (ESPECIALLY the horse trainer dude's indian wife my god). I lost intersest at the end when every single area of the show has female representation now, including the Cowboys (turbo-masculine cowboy dudes maintaining the ranch and other "jobs" necessary).
The Rig Completely broke immersion by having a 50-50 male-female crew.
Only TV show I hit up was "Agent Carter" in the first season. Second season leaned hard on the woke button and I walked away from it by the second ep.
Agent Carter was a solid show. It definitely leaned hard on the "get us some coffee, sweetheart" trope, but at least it was appropriate to the era the show was set in and was integral to the plot.
There's nothing more ridiculous than a woman in a show set in the current time with a female character complaining about "muh patriarchy". They would have had preferential admissions with lower standards at college, preferential hiring when they got their job, and accelerated advancement once hired.
