2- People should be free to assess their own risks.
3- Masks for the general public don't show a statistically-significant impact on respiratory virus transmission.
Thus not only are they infringing on people's rights, they are misleading people who are at an actual risk from a respiratory virus and may prefer to live isolated ( their life, their choice ), who will then think they are "safer" when they are not.
I'm not sure that imploring anyone to "live isolated" is a good idea, tbh...
I agree, "their life, their choice" - sure, but scaring people into isolating themselves, and living like that, isn't a good thing either...
So I don't actually agree with what you say, there. I agree that the masks make no difference, but I don't agree with your idea of "at risk", or that continuing to isolate themselves will help anything...
People are going to get it. Living as if they won't, after three years, is beyond illogical. It's insane. Besides, "living isolated" is not really being alive. Old people already struggle with isolation. Telling them to "live isolated", or even suggesting it, is thoroughly unhelpful.
So fine, on a technicality I was slightly off, but your argument is not really much better than mine, tbh.
In the end, I think we’re all largely talking cross-purposes here.
I was just trying to point out that this is utter bollocks.
I still don’t entirely agree with what Rouler was saying, though. But I think we can all agree that mandating this, regardless of where, and regardless of the reasoning, is utter bullshit…
"It's outdoors" is not a good argument there.
1- The "rule" is for buildings and transports.

Either way, this is dumb as fuck.
Counterpoint: Keeping the deranged fuckwits stuck inside and away from the rest of humanity is a net positive.
Tips 🎩 (I think), lol…
But yeah, that’s… Essentially what I meant.
