But I doubt they'd agree because they're loving this right now as in their eyes it's showing the Republican party is more fractured than them
Which is true, the Republicans seem to have a few members with a shred of morality over their party. It's why this is still being voted on. Besides in their heads they might be trying to get the dem in to rub it in their faces and because he's got more votes than Kevin.
Ok and what SHOULD they do? Because all you stated was that they aren't doing anything and 'need to face reality'
The reality is this, going up to their face and going 'fuck you' publicly, in a position they can't retaliate from has done more to damage their egos and reputation than ANY inquiry or vote. The fact that things aren't going their way immediately is like a thorn in the side they can't reach.
My guess since we are currently on the sixth vote and it seems the Kevin's slowly losing votes, it's going to continue, they'll be an overreaction by the establishment and that's going to cause the fracture in the party. Which is also fantastic as if the house is too busy fighting itself, the less they can fuck over the population.
stop weakening their/our already weak political brand
This right here is why the west is the laughing stock of the world. Even dictatorships look at us and laugh
They may be run by a militaristic, oppressive regime but at least they weren't dumb enough to freely choose people that strip away access to self defence tools and medical choice based on a colour and letter on a ballot paper!
If your focus is not on the character of your representative, on if they are principled in their stances and do only what they were elected to do instead on a political party, you deserve to watch it all crumble to the ground like a house of cards.
There is no brand. Mitch McConnel stuck a fork in it when he met with Schumer to say they share the same vision for the future of the GOP, but it was already well done by then.
I hope they keep going as:
Nothing can happen until they get a speaker, no money to Ukraine, no new pricks in office, nothing
The record for longest time this happened is 2 months so let's set a new record!

It’s 200 republican congressmen versus 20 republican congressmen and 90% of republican voters.
Let me ask you a dead honest question, can you name one thing McCarthy has actually done accomplished and is settled versus what he has “promised”
Uniparty asking the uniparty for help

We can’t accomplish anything until your dinosaur mindset vanishes.
