There's that in-group bias again.

The interesting part is not that the arguments differ by education, as that's explained by lower religious commitment.
It's that there's a consistent bias towards defending women who cheat, across every demographic. Women have a huge in-group bias regardless of upbringing or anything else. It's innate.
Yeah noticed that, it's one of the things I credit Shoeonhead for is that she called out the hypocrisy of the light treatment of female pedos.
If you want to remove the protections women get, you'll need to take them out of the access to children as men need something to protect and unfortunately while children are the perfect focus for that, women control the access.
Male and female pedos are treated differently because men and women are different. There is absolutely a difference between a 120lbs female teacher getting fucked by an adolescent male student and a 90lbs adolescent female student getting fucked by an adult male teacher. Everyone intuitively knows this to be true. We only insist that these things are the same out of either 1) a misguided notion of “equality” or 2) a pointless attempt to illustrate hypocrisy.
A pedo is a pedo, each found guilty beyond doubt in a court of law should face a long drop and a quick stop, period.
Unless you're talking about literal rape I don't know what their weight has to do with it, but it should be more about keeping pedos, hebes, furries, trannies, groomers, and other sickos out of the classroom than considering how the victim "feels" about it or whether or not they are really a victim. Obviously it depends on the age-gap but there's something wrong in the head about a woman who has sex with her underage student - even if it's intuitively different to you or anyone.
So I agree with you that's one reason for different treatment, but don't agree that disagreeing is misguided or pointless.
