please post source, nobody knows wtf this is. I traced it to this post on reddit: popculturechat/comments/zmxrop/leak_why_henry_cavill_really_left_the_witcher/ which is from something called the Deuxmoi podcast.
everyone on Reddit worships Cavill. he's their new Keanu. the idea that some pissant little leaker trying to shit on them is going to move the needle is laughable.
nobody had a negative word to say about Cavill in YEARS, and only now, months after he's publicly left the show AND the fan backlash nuked the show runners and writer's room, AND said people acted very humble in public which only showed that everything being said was true, ONLY AFTER ALL THAT, did some 100% anonymous person who might have nothing to do with the show and just tribally trying to defend feminism, suddenly make all kinds of on-their-face non-credible attacks? LOL.
LOL no. He's a gamer, but nothing he has ever said or done reflects that he is super hard core about it.
okay so this is just badly written fiction.
Who? Name the writer. There can't have been many writers fired from that show.
for what?
LOL NOPE. We all know that the showrunner wanted him gone. Netflix doesn't give a shit about production, they just want to make money. Losing their golden boy would not have been something they pushed for.
The gamer writer (and producer) in question was Beau DeMayo.
(Who's also a chad: https://www.instagram.com/beau_demayo/)
I also immediately knew it was DeMayo since he was the only other one who left.
Incidentally, he also had the same complaints as Henry in talking about how the other writers didnt respect and outright hated the source material. And it is why he instituted a rule while being the lead writer for X-Men '97 of making sure only those who respect the source material are allowed on.
The only difference here is that DeMayo says he quit while this blog says he was fired. But considering DeMayo has been consistent while the other writers have been lying repreatedly, I know who I am trusting for actual information.
looked it up. he's the guy who famously said that "The Witcher – where some of the writers were not or actively disliked the books and games (even actively mocking the source material.)"
there is no evidence he was fired, and he was a freelancer so wasn't full time with them anyway. he left to work on a marvel project. some fag in the writers room - Matthew D'Ambrosio - sniped at him and claimed he was "fired for being an asshole". dude's twitter profile pic is him drawn as an anime catboy.
Lol.
He don't look mayo to me
