Matt Walsh (@MattWalshBlog)
My only problem with the doxxing policy is that it isn't strict enough. Some of us are doxxed constantly on this platform with little to no penalty for the doxxers. I'm all about a no-tolerance policy for doxxing. I hope Elon enforces one. He hasn't yet.
Politics is punishing enemies and rewarding friends. If anything, doxxing antifags, urinalists and pedos(but I repeat myself) should be allowed in order to maintain civil order, while doxxing Elon and Walsh should not. It's rather progressive of Elon to protect terrorists from doxxing too.
I'm cool with banning doxxing on twitter in the sense that Elon uses it: giving location info which enables someone to launch a violent attack or harassment.
I'm cool with that too, but for nobody's. Not for the greedy bunch that already lord it over us. Let's add more secrecy, and buy some adjoining islands for their poor tired hearts to mend, while the $ keep ticking up under their name.
Police officers on duty, and public persona's in character should lose that privilege. Not that it will ever happen.
Ultimately doxxing of a public personality is nonsense. They are public, their information will be out there, and they can protect themselves, or choose not to. While little people who need anonymity, need it, because they cannot protect themselves in the same manner.
Celebrities hate anonymity because it’s the only thing they can’t have - not without giving up their celebrity.
I see this as the non-L side wanting their coom.
Peterson wants to kill anonymity. Walsh wants his details kept safe. Musk wants no details of his jet setting ways to be made public.
All these ass holes that live in the public eye, and gain from it, absolutely must feel the pain and pressure of being in it.
Politicians immunized themselves from this, and from any responsibility for their actions. Look what you have now.
Celebrities used their immense earnings to 'influence' on topics they have no idea about, by virtue of their earnings.
Now tinpots on tech platforms that are hostile to them want their time in the sun.
Fuck all these grifters. As always, take whatever sense they make, and throw the rest out. Do not put these fools on a pedestal. Ever.
This is the stupidest argument of the day. Peterson was wrong but his argument was about accountability for anonymity. Musk has every right to tell people to quit stalking him, Walsh has every right to say he doesn’t want lunatic leftists at his door.
Guess you missed the point about being in the public eye.
But go ahead and provide your heroes with immunity.
Meanwhile the solution to idiot stalkers is ensuring stalkers are punished properly no matter their color or tampon usage.
And you are going to take on the mantle of punishing stalkers? California sure as fuck isn’t. Unless you are going to guarantee your “solution” your argument is just as solid as “doing communism right this time guys!”
This is a deadbeat take. If there's anyone that can ensure 'stalkers' aren't a threat, its a celebrity that rakes it in.
On the one hand you want twitter to 'police' people. On the other hand you spout drivel like 'communism done right'. Make up your mind.
How many celebrities have been killed by stalkers? Their security can’t save them every time. I don’t want twitter to “police” people I want people to be able to not have to worry about sick fucks live posting their location in blue shitholes full of deranged people.
Lunatic leftists are cowards, this makes them easy to deal with as an individual, but it is also why they tend to group and wait for one to lash out then follow suit. The “summer of love” riots proved that.
