Something I thought about recently with the current state of the VA, I’m amazed there aren’t mass shootings of VA Admins every week based on the malicious shit they pull.
Even then, it’s gotten inexplicably bad the past two years. Every trump policy that worked has now been co-opted to the point one of the guys I used to treat who is 100% disabled (ied) and still does charity work for other vets got a copayment bill for utilizing the local services instead of VA because he didn’t want to drive 2 hours to the only VA location that offered it. This was after he was assured there would be no difference in coverage…
