No they're not. Blackrock owns a large chunk of the Vanguard group. They're trying some wacky bait and switch - good cop/bad cop nonsense on the feeble minded.
Don't give money to (or invest with) people that hate you and want you and your family dead.
Yeah, I thought my comment was naive. Your interpretation seems more realistic.
agreed. unfortunately that's who my employer goes through. I stopped contributing though over a year ago once I realized what was going on.
You can always contribute and then transfer out to another fund. It's a pain in the ass to consolidate retirement accounts, but odds are if your employer matches contributions, the time spent transferring from like to like (e.g. one Roth IRA to another, or one 401K to another) is worth more to you than whatever else you'd be doing with that time.
As long as I'm employed with them I'm stuck but yes you're right once i dont work for the company. I've just stopped contributing and instead invest in physical gold and silver. I no longer believe in the retirement fund system. Actually I never have but note so now then ever.
Before we know it "they" will want to know my vaccine status or social credit status in order to payout the funds they owe. Our world is turning into this more n more.
Isn't that basically everyone though?
Ahh, they've decided to refocus on their raison d'etre, i.e. making money. Maybe this will spur others to cut out the DIE and ESG bloat.
Wow that logic and reason there sounds pretty climate change denialist.
Warm weather spurs evolution. Its why bacteria grow faster at room or warm temps. The more faster they grow, the faster they divide. The faster they divide, the more traits gain or lost. Its why rainforests have the most diversity on land. Wet, humid and warm.
Ecosystems shift all the time. Sahara used to be rainforest and used to be grassy plains, but became desert way before humans came about. Antartica used to be aboreal forests before tectonics moved it south. Basically... climates shift all the time. Some miniscule humans burning coal and gas for 100 years aint gonna do shit to climate. Timescale is just too short. Maybe 10,000 years would cause things to be bad.. but yeah.
Lol. Money printer go brrr. This policy slowed down the printer. That's bad. No more bad policy, so printer go fast again.
All finance is dropping ESG marketing to avoid congressional inquiry.
Death to diversity, climate and social cult concepts.
I wish but they mention climate in particular.
Too late, putas!
Does the Based Florida Man have anything to do with this? He's the only one who's taken action on this that I know of.
I wish I could drop them
They have to dump net zero climate goals because they aren't actually happening, period. Doesn't matter how much even blackrock wants to will it into being, it won't happen.
The environmental parts of ESG isn't actually the bad part because most analysts just went with whatever the value was anyway and companies printing money from O&G didn't really care if they weren't listed because they were still printing money.
The real harm of ESG comes down to Diversity and Inclusions. Companies hiring women for the sake of meeting ESG targets. It is causing immense damage to society as a whole socially. Oppressing men and unjustly elevating women when women are hypergamous to begin with. The result has been absolutely disasterous for male-female relations.
