Uncle Teds or glowies?
I'm hoping this is the start of the real-life NSF while also pessimistically considering the more realistic possibility of the latter, myself.
If you assume there's a Machiavelli in play, first was a glowie, the rest are up in the air. There was an unusually high level of attention and politicization over the first one, despite the total lack of evidence for a political motive, which did more to cement the idea of power infrastructure attacks as a viable method of disruption than any dissident has managed in decades. It would certainly make it easier for normies to swallow another couple steps towards totalitarianism if regular power grid disruption was on the table.
Glowniggers; that is, if it's actually happening at all.
Considering this job is most effectively done with what is likely a single-shot rifle, I don't know if most gun control plans apply.
Doesn't matter, a big chunk of the public is already conditioned to believe that black gun with rails = evil killing machine, even if it's a .22. Now it can be an evil transformer destroying machine, too.
Likely people are snapping after 2 years of being fucked with and dealing with a country falling apart at the seams.
