United Colors of Benetton: We have pictures of a man dying of aids in his hospital room. What campaign can we run with this?
Public: What kinda fucked up monsters are you? Have you no shame? This is the worst thing we've seen from an advertising agency, and we've heard radio commercials! Nothing can possibly go lower.
My sister has Ehlers Danlos. It's so rare science has a hard time studying it. She had surgeries to correct it and is living her life. Those surgeries were paid for by private organizations, and she had stuff like the Ronald McDonald house.
Jesus. What's going on up there in the Great White North? Why is the Turdeau regime pushing suicide?
I read yesterday of a Canadian Army vet who was trying to get the Canadian veteran's administration to provide her with a personal escalator because she cannot climb up or down her home stairs without assistance.
Instead of discussing the escalator, they suggested she snuff herself instead.
In the Simons board room:
"So, what can we do to improve our brand image?"
"Well, there's this woman who is dying of a rare and painful disease and the state run health care system has failed her..."
"And you're thinking we can pay to get her proper care, to show our compassion? Or start a foundation to improve public health care?"
"No, I'm thinking we should make a short film making her state-assisted suicide look like a beautiful, romantic event."
"That sounds... depraved."
"It'll improve our ESG score by 20%"
"That sounds... BRILLIANT!"
God forbid she gets on morphine or dilaudid, drugs that cost literally pennies per day. "Die, bitch!" is the new Canadian approach to palliative care.

This contrast is maddening.
The only time a commercial won’t be diverse us if it’s for euthanasia
