They kind of painted themselves into a corner. They initially started kneeling in fealty to BLM. They wore BLM branded t-shirts with the organisation's web address on. After a few weeks, once people pointed out just how batshit crazy BLM are, they pretended that the kneeling had nothing to do with the organisation and claimed they were just kneeling to protest any and all kinds of discrimination. So until all discrimination everywhere stops (which obviously won't happen) they must continue to kneel, or they have to admit that they openly support a corrupt racist, marxist organisation and lied to the public about it.
