I mean, even if you don't like him and hate everything he stood for, he is the main if not entire catalyst from the Republican, and really the American Right in general, shaking off the milquetoast patheticness it had fallen into for decades and beginning to not only fight back in small doses but not be completely cowed by terror of being called meanie words.
Its a lot of too little too late, but that's the fault of most in the party for sitting and building up rust for so long.

Yep. The 'catalyst' of the Republican revolution is an 80s style Democrat: 40 years behind and stuck on the same leftwards trajectory.
Just like Buckley giving the boot to the John Birch Society, letting Trump (who is a dissenting Democrat) lead the party is an admission that Conservatives can't conserve anything-- it's a de facto indictment.
And while I do love that Trump's full-throated opposition has enabled dissent-- Trump was a stop-gap measure and not the course correction the country needed.
Education, Media, Big Tech, and Unelected Government all got worse thanks to TDS and Trump not rooting them out. This is better than Hillary would have been by a long stretch-- but remission alone can't cure cancer..

Well said.
That Trump was the least of the worst options has always been the point, for those who don't have the opposite of TDS.
Suddenly saying he is Jesus Rising is just the other side of the dimocunt coin.
Is there anyone credible saying he's Jesus Rising? Did Jesus ever get booed by his supporters during his sermons when he said stupid shit?
