Trump out performs Republicans absolutely everywhere. Hell, take the Oz Fetterman race for example. Diving into the county by county level it's very clear that Oz lost because he did better than Trump in deep blue areas but underperformed in deep red areas. He vastly underperformed because he didn't motivate swathes of people who would have absolutely gotten out to vote if orange man was on the ballot.
As much as I appreciate some of your posts, sometimes I get the odd feeling you just take whatever Ben Shapiro says and go around parroting it. Because this comment reads exactly like some retarded shit he would spout.
Yeah, that seems to be the shocking part that a lot of his type, and RINO's refuse to accept.
There is a deep red fucking base that is far larger than anyone belives, and winning over the center-left is actually a losing proposition. Trump isn't a God Emperor, and he wants to portray himself as a Kingmaker; but the truth is that he is just an Avatar for something far larger.
Look at JD Vance by comparison to Dr. Oz. Oz is clearly a celebrity slime-ball that Trump figured could win because of personality. JD Vance is not a charisma machine, but holy shit does he speak to the rural midwestern poor and lower-class. No surprise he wrote Hillbilly Eulogy. That, and he's absolutely one of our guys. Winning Rob Portman's seat was going to be a win, but he fucking absolutely trounced Tim Ryan because the deep red parts of the country can be energized.
The republican base is much further right than the party. You could openly run race realists as candidates and your major opposition would be the establishment, not the base.
In the interest of steelmanning positions, I will say that it seems Vance feels abandoned by Trump. He is still pushing the same policies, but when he was giving his thank you’s, Trump was not on the list. Could be nothing, but still a data point to consider.
Not that The Turtle and RNC helped much either. They deserve the lions share of the blame, but Trump is not innocent either.
Yeah, I'm not saying Trump's political strategists are up to Karl Rove's standards here; but it definitely feels like the Establishment GOP would rather lose every election than let Trump win thrice.
Trump out performs Republicans absolutely everywhere.
That simply isn't true. The "trumpy" candidates generally did about the same or worse as trump, and trump lost, so they lost.
Meanwhile in Florida, the election most untainted by Trump since DeSantis is seen as his rival, it was an absolute blowout where Republicans massively outperformed Trump's 2020 numbers.

I think for myself. I happen to agree with Ben Shapiro most of the time - not always - because he's a smart man who knows his shit. Far moreso than the people in this sub, which is why he's got the #1 conservative podcast and is essentially this generation's successor to Rush Limbaugh. Ben Shapiro is far, far closer to the pulse of the American Right than this sub is. This sub can be fringe as fuck and totally out of touch with mainstream conservatism.
I'm not talking about "Trumpy" whatever the hell that even means. I'm talking about Trump himself. There aren't many places where some generic ass Republican runs ahead of Trump. Its not like they don't exist but in most places that actually matters he beats them.
That has the much more important underlying factor of Hispanics shifting to the GOP. I like DeSantis but that isn't all him there. What is on him is clamping down on the ballot harvesting, which also helps.
Regardless, cherry picking one state with very clear outside factors kind of underlies how weak the "orange man is weighing us down" narrative that the establishment GOP cucks and useful idiots are pushing really is. It doesnt pass the eye test and even if it did, polls do not back it up.
Please note this has nothing to do with claiming that orange man either is or isn't some populist messiah. I dont care to argue that either way because it is independent of the measurable fact that Trump is a wind in the sails of R's in most districts.

That depends on what you mean by race realists.

Every republican in Florida absolutely demolished Trump's 2020 margins this week.
This is what the Right can accomplish when freed of Trump's toxic baggage.
