Trump out performs Republicans absolutely everywhere.
That simply isn't true. The "trumpy" candidates generally did about the same or worse as trump, and trump lost, so they lost.
Meanwhile in Florida, the election most untainted by Trump since DeSantis is seen as his rival, it was an absolute blowout where Republicans massively outperformed Trump's 2020 numbers.
As much as I appreciate some of your posts, sometimes I get the odd feeling you just take whatever Ben Shapiro says and go around parroting it. Because this comment reads exactly like some retarded shit he would spout.
I think for myself. I happen to agree with Ben Shapiro most of the time - not always - because he's a smart man who knows his shit. Far moreso than the people in this sub, which is why he's got the #1 conservative podcast and is essentially this generation's successor to Rush Limbaugh. Ben Shapiro is far, far closer to the pulse of the American Right than this sub is. This sub can be fringe as fuck and totally out of touch with mainstream conservatism.
I'm not talking about "Trumpy" whatever the hell that even means. I'm talking about Trump himself. There aren't many places where some generic ass Republican runs ahead of Trump. Its not like they don't exist but in most places that actually matters he beats them.
That has the much more important underlying factor of Hispanics shifting to the GOP. I like DeSantis but that isn't all him there. What is on him is clamping down on the ballot harvesting, which also helps.
Regardless, cherry picking one state with very clear outside factors kind of underlies how weak the "orange man is weighing us down" narrative that the establishment GOP cucks and useful idiots are pushing really is. It doesnt pass the eye test and even if it did, polls do not back it up.
Please note this has nothing to do with claiming that orange man either is or isn't some populist messiah. I dont care to argue that either way because it is independent of the measurable fact that Trump is a wind in the sails of R's in most districts.

Every republican in Florida absolutely demolished Trump's 2020 margins this week.
This is what the Right can accomplish when freed of Trump's toxic baggage.
