The Pennsylvania Supreme Court says envelopes with ballots must be properly signed and dated. Meanwhile, in Arizona, people watching the ballot boxes can not 'harass' voters.
President Biden is now warning against a world run by MAGA Republicans. President Trump is hoping Nancy Pelosi isn't as insane as she appears to be.
Before the baseball season started the governor ended mask mandate and the media went crazy. No issues.
Remember the The Atlantic headline when Georgia ended its restrictions?
"Georgia's Experiment in Human Sacrifice"
It's quite appalling how polarized this issue became in the US.
Tell me about it. It should’ve been obvious pretty quickly that it wasn’t the major plague they thought it was
In fact, it was. Somewhere very early on, Sam Harris had a Johns Hopkins doctor on who said that the mortality rate was about 1/10 of what had been regularly asserted (3%).
Of course, you can always turn it into a major plague like they did in Italy.
Polarized? That implies the other side was just as insane as the mask mandates. I can't think of any statewide mask bans
Not really 'just as crazy', just ideological when it comes to this.
Here in Europe, most people's position on masks is: I hate it, but maybe it will help. So left-wingers stopped wearing masks when the mandates ended, and right-wingers didn't (normally) break mask mandates in public places. They did not make being pro-masks or anti-masks their political identity.
I'm not necessarily advocating for either position, but I think that not having people have a position on masks based on political opinion is pretty good.
