Money printing IS inflation. That's what's inflating: the money supply.
Price increases are the result of inflation.

Inflation isn't the price of goods going up, and it never has been.
They changed what they marketed as inflation so they could use the CPI, which is much easier to manipulate than data about M1 and M2.
