And saying that critics loved it is really no gauge.
Because pointing out how they crap on the source material is toxic. I once angered some people on Reddit for saying if they want all the diversity they claim then they need to write their own story. Stop crapping on great works to “reflect a modern audience”

So it's less than 100 million. Some number less than 100 million. We don't know what it's 100 million of, but we know it's less than that.

Yeah I dunno how many people have to watch before Amazon can declare a billion dollars well spent. I think that's part of the problem. There's no direct correlation between Amazon's programming and revenue. They're not running ads. No show is going to move the dial on Prime subscriptions, which people are mainly using to buy shit. Amazon will just do whatever they "feel" like.
