Like all Marxism, cultural Marxism requires an oppressor/scapegoat group to justify its existence. If you eliminate that group it's not like they pack their bags and go home. They just pick another group to target so they can continue the grift. This is why they constantly fight over hierarchy and are so eager to turn on each other in the absence of the hated straight white male.
You have a problem with definitions. "Cultural Marxism" is out. The more accurate "neo-Marxism" is in. It refers (very generally speaking) to the replacement of the class struggle (Proletariat vs. Bourgeoisie) by the struggle of the persecuted minority (straight white man vs. any number of social categories).
People are always sympathetic to victims, and so a great many people with no other redeeming qualities paint themselves as victims in an attempt to receive charity.
