These people should be ground up to make dog food.
Officer Whitley took it like a champ, but man, running after a guy like that that when you've been told he has a gun is fucking dumb. He runs, you shoot. Don't fucking chase and roll the dice on whether you can react in time when he decides to spin around and pull the trigger.
In this specific case, it would have been warranted but that is overall a dumb policy, considering cops average hit rate is something like 25%. If the cop saw the gun, then sure. But not just because a Karen reports it.
It would be better if the judges/DA who gave lenient sentences or let him roam free while waiting for those 40+ other crimes need to have the expenses come out of their salary or some other type of liability.
Although this case might also need an update to laws regarding juveniles, in the rare event that they already gave the max sentence. After 5 misdemeanors, person should be considered an adult or something.
6??? this goes beyond "where are the parents"
Some people really are just born broken.

Old enough to use a gun, old enough to be tried and convicted as an adult.
There's a state, I can't remember which, that's trying to lower the age of being an adult to charge teens as adults. I am all for this.
