Honestly I think Peterson is a fucking weirdo [Russia coma, weird all meat diet, obvious lie claiming no sleep for an extremely long period, weird daughter, etc], but he does a decent job of talking shit about marxists and I like the fact that the libs lose their minds over him.
Also while Peterson shit talks leftists intellectuals, he himself is very much an "intelleckshual" and I dislike him for that reason as well. I don't like people who constantly name drop philosophers. I prefer to think for myself.
He’s also gone out of his way to stir up drama to stay in the spotlight imo. Hard to feel bad for him, but at the same time the Reddit/Twitter double standard is real

My perspective is close to yours that I do still have a lot of respect for JBP, but he does have some blindspots and some skeletons in his closet for such a lauded self-help guru.
Here's the thing though. Your thinking for yourself is unintentionally rediscovering some old forgotten truths. Chances are your ideas aren't original and your way of doing things is probably something that was done in Ancient or Medieval until it became passé.
