Honestly I think Peterson is a fucking weirdo [Russia coma, weird all meat diet, obvious lie claiming no sleep for an extremely long period, weird daughter, etc], but he does a decent job of talking shit about marxists and I like the fact that the libs lose their minds over him.

My perspective is close to yours that I do still have a lot of respect for JBP, but he does have some blindspots and some skeletons in his closet for such a lauded self-help guru.
