They need to be treated like the servile whores they are and have always been, so they might desist, go bankrupt, and make room for independents and freelancers with some ethics.
It worked with CNN. They are retrenching into something to the right of where they were, but this feint should be ignored or ridiculed so CNN can die the ignominious death it deserves.
If CNN was serious about retrenching, they could have sold their name, fired/transfered the staff to the new company, and used the infrastructure to build a new brand. That they don't go that far is indicative of their stopping short of center on their 'rightward move.'
